Aaron Jones, DDS

He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2004, ranking third overall in his class. He was honored with the Certificate of Honor for Scholastic Excellence and inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society in 2004.

Erik Harrington, Phd, DDS

Dr. Harrington graduated from the University of Texas with a double major in history and psychology. After his undergraduate work, Dr. Harrington completed two years as a research assistant in the Department of Molecular Genetics at UT Southwestern, under the leadership of Helen Hobbs, MD and chaired by Michael Brown and Joseph Goldstein, Nobel Prize Winners. With his experience in research, Dr. Harrington was awarded a $160,000 fellowship to attend Baylor Dental School and where he completed craniofacial research culminating in a staggered DDS/ PhD double degree.

Loria Guiatas, DDS

Dr. Guiatas graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2004. During dental school, she was on the Dean’s Honor List for each of her four collegiate years. She was an elected member of the Odontological Honor Society, participated in the Pediatric Dentistry Departmental Summer Honors Program and received academic scholarships.

Jyme Beth, B.A., R.D.A.

Dental Assistant
Hi, I’m Jyme Beth! I was born and raised in a small town in Texas. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, I found a soft spot for dentistry and haven’t left since.

I really enjoy being part of the Highland Park Dental family because of the atmosphere we create for our patients, our staff’s commitment to quality patient care, and our ability to work well together as a team.

Since joining the HPD family in 2008, I have had the wonderful opportunity of creating relationships with our patients; which is what I value the most! I look forward to meeting all of our new patients, too!

Jasmine Salas

Dental Assistant
I’m the silly one out of the bunch! I’m currently attending College and in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Science, and eventually my certification in Pediatric Dentistry. I am certified in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Radiology, Coronal Polishing, Pit and Fissure Sealant, CPR, Infection Control, and committed to expanding my knowledge with continuing education. I specialize in pediatrics, mentally compromised children, and love making my patients feel comfortable with their dental experience. Along with my busy work and school schedule I love to take my wonderful dogs Lucy and Bruno to the dog park.

Dominique Salas

Dental Assistant

Dominique Salas-Garfias was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Dominique started in the pediatric dental field in 2005 as a clinical assistant, and joined Highland Park Dental as a pediatric assistant in 2008. Dominique resides in Dallas with her husband, John. Both are grateful and excited to be expecting a little bundle of joy this Spring and look forward to being parents. When not working, Dominique stays busy with her softball schedule and taking care of their four dogs Pepito, Chico, Dutchess and Max. She also enjoys shopping, traveling and reading in her spare time, but most of all spending time with her family.

Cristina Garcia

Dental Assistant

Hello, my name is Cristina Garcia. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I joined Highland Park Dental in September 2008. I’m a Pediatric Dental assistant and the youngest one of the bunch. I love working with children and enjoy making their dental experience an enjoyable one. I enjoy what I do and have a passion for working with children. Most importantly I love putting a smile on children’s faces. I have learned a lot of things each and every day. I enjoy working with the Highland Park staff. When not working, I enjoy shopping, watching movies and spending time with my family.

Karli Bock, RDH

Dental Hygienist

I attended Texas Tech and received my Dental Hygiene License upon graduation from Amarillo College in 2009. Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be in the dental field and now I am living my dream! Preventative dentistry has my heart and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a smile on my patients face.

I stay committed and enjoy learning about new advances in dentistry by participating in continuing education classes. In my spare time I love to watch college football and spend as much time with my family and friends!

Cheri Kerley

Patient Coordinator

Hello, I’m Cheri and I am the newest member of the Highland Park Dental Team. I have been in the dental field for over 15 years, experienced in all aspects of dentistry from assisting to marketing. I am a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and certified to treat patients with coronal polishings, dental sealants, and monitor nitrous oxide sedations. My spontaneous nature and fun personality makes me a great asset to our team. Hope to see you all soon!
